Waterfront view ?

Beautiful park ! Many places to fish.

Not dog friendly.

Half campsites were on the beach and half on the river.

Riverside has one bathhouse / Air conditioned but not close to all the sites.

Large sites overall.

Rained the first day, flooded 95% of the riverside sites, ours (#54) was the worst with at least 4" of standing water.

No vacant dry spots. Refund issued returned home.

Will try again during dry season. (maybe)

... morning watching our belongings being loaded on to the humongous truck, neighbors drove by and waved, some even gave a beep-beep. We had several walking by who stopped to chat, inquiring about the sale of the house. They were pleasant and complimentary on how they "love" our house, and they were happy to hear we would be returning in two years. A beautiful couple, whom we had never met, stopped their brisk walk ...

On this joyous day we had our boat naming ceremony- FOUR COCONUTS! (Picture forthcoming). It is custom for new boat owners to perform a ceremony hailing Poseidon and gods of the North, South, East and West. Maya conducted research for us and provided roles for each to perform. We had to remove all items with the old boat name and offer up champagne to all the gods. My role was to pour champagne into ...
