... of trains and barges to cross the river. We circumnavigated the lodge taking in the views across to Starved Rock while also in search of a geocache hidden in an old Italian "letterbox" chair (one of only two in the world - the other being owned by Ozzie Osborne) located near the entrance to the lodge. Eventually it became apparent that the chair was inside the lodge and the cache quickly found. A coffee of dubious quality warmed us up in the cafe ...
