... from the beach and stopped for lunch I tried the authentic 'Mie Goreng' which is basically (fried noodles), there is also Nasi Goreng (fried rice) version it's basically chicken fried noodles or rice with a fried egg on top and some prawn crackers. Was nice I want to try it again to compare other restaurants as the noodles were a little stogie. What can you say ... good home cooking Balinese food by a lovely 70yo lady at the cheapest prices we have seen.
1 ayam lawar
1 nasi goring
1 sate ayam
1 cap cay
2 small bingtang
A large dinner for two at the grand total of 73000 rp ($7 aud) but byo ambiance / music
We also had breakfast here 40,000 rp for two including fresh juice.

The last day in Ubud we spent doing what we do better than anyone, shopping. We prepared a very well critiqued list of all the things we really wanted and then went all out at the local market bartering like never before. One of the men who Niomi bought a fake Rolex from even said we were as good as the Balinese people. Round of applause pleeeease. We got the shuttle bus to Kuta which turned up 1 ...

... it wasn’t terribly unpleasant, except that it sounded like a ten year old playing the recorder for the melody! As the bells, bongos and recorder dies away, Nay’s haircut seems to be going OK as Neil watched along with two other salon staff, then the music starts up again… it sounds familiar. The same song plays a good six times which becomes a running joke for everyone in the shop, yet nobody rushes to change it!

... That night had dinner in front of a traditional and noisey Balinese show. The next day we returned to Kuta to drop Meals off and then headed to the airport for our flight to Lombok and our two nights at Sengiggi beach. The flight only took 40 minutes so by the time we took off we were landing. Not even time for an episode of Modern Family.
