They keep on driving on to Santa Monica but ...

... and headed to the harbor in hopes to grab lunch at Brophy's, but unfortunately there was a long wait. As we were leaving for plan b, we saw the actress that plays Sarah on the ABC show Revenge. We ended up going to Shoreline, where we ate on the beach with our feet in the sand. The fish tacos were great and the view was priceless.
For the remainder of the day we relaxed at the house, enjoyed an awesome view from the back deck, and completed the ...

... in Paso Robles at the Firestone Brewery. The brewery itself and gift shop was closed, but the restaurant and bar was open. We grabbed a table in the stylishly decorated converted warehouse and ordered dinner. The food was excellent and the beer flight that I sampled was quite good as well. We were back on the road before 7pm and arrived back home in San Jose by 9pm exhausted from the drive and happy to be back in our own beds.
