Jumping back on the trolley bus we went to do some wine tasting at a local vineyard's tasting house. Needless to say we came away with a bottle of C******nay and a Pinot Noir. The C******nay will be consumed this evening on the porch at the Hotel and we will keep the Pinot Noir for Hawaii.

A thoroughly enjoyable, chilled out day in Santa Barbara. Back to Los Angeles tomorrow where we will try to see a bit more of Hollywood etc.

I am looking forward to seeing new people. I am still homesick sometimes but I think the time will do its job and make it passes. I love the city, the hot weather and the amazing view and thousands of trees, that is for sure!

... was too dangerous for cyclists with no shoulder and lots of fast traffic. He told us the best route to take which started off really nice, past golf courses along a really quiet country road. Then of course it was time for our daily workout and up we started to go, on & on as usual - lots of walking but really beautiful and no traffic at all. Saw Peter up ahead go down into a ditch and when I got there he was holding a huge dead bird, some ...
