    Getting Started
    It's snowing in CT ... expecting up to a foot of snow by mid-afternoon. So far our flight is on time out of JFK, but trying to connect with 10 other people who are coming to Tuscany on 4 different itineraries is going to be a challenge if any of our flights are delayed. But here's to the start of our vacation!!!

    4:30 and we're at JFK. Flight's on we go!

    ... Well you should be, the food was awesome! There was also a wonderful baked ham, olives and artichoke hearts. Dessert was also a feast in itself with blueberry cheesecake (my favourite), chocolate cake, Italian cakes like cannoli, chocolate pie and I am sure there was more. I think I will be needing to exercise for like a month when I get back, seriously! Poor Kym was still not feeling well from the fall and struggled a bit. ...

    ... which meant that every step you took the ladder would twirl and spin in a 360. Alright so I came up with my first ingenious plan: having a partner hold the ladder straight while i climbed up, that way the ladder wouldn't spin and knock my feet off. Finally made it to the top except now my friend and I realized that holding that ladder took a lot of strain in our upper body and we were getting exhausted quick.
