Anyone from the 80's would have been jealous! The start of our bus trip was quite pleasant: we each had our own seat and our bags were out of sight somewhere in the aisle. As we stopped along the way, more and more people crammed in the bus and sat on other people's laps: this was a double decker without the second ...

We did think of moving our shoes inside the fale as the weather showed its most violent mood but some were of the guests not as lucky ...

The sounds of the surf provide a calming cacophony to the silence that would otherwise inhabit the space. In the evening we were welcomed with a traditional Samoan Ceremony with the taking of Ava and tasted some traditional Samoan food.
Salamumu, Samoa jgrah87... everyone to use any available excuse to do as little as possible although I can't blame them. We're looking forward to heading to Auckland tomorrow and picking up our campervan for the next month and hoping that over there things might actually get dry rather than occupying various states of dampness. Hope you are all well and thank you for the messages its lovely to hear from everyone. Will be in touch again soon. Lots of Love Hatty & Jonny
Molutasime lihtsalt paar tundi autos ...
Coconut Resort, Samoa anneristo... kom!
Apia, Samoa kinemichelle... Driving through the Samoan villages is so neat- they all wave at you, and the kids give the biggest smiles! Isn't the pic of the Samoan boy so cute? He cried when he saw the flash, and two hours later when I saw him again he pointed at me and started crying again! Poor little guy! We've spent alot of time with a very nice Dutch couple, Will and Jolinda, as well as a Frenchie who has moved to NZ named Sylvain (Syl-vah)! We hope to ...
Apia, Samoa Western ty.and.bonnie... a traditional Samoan lunch, three dinners and 3 breakfasts? All this and the best beach in Samoa for only $32 AUD per night!! But don't tell anyone of everyone will want to go there. So now to the beach. The most pristine, crystal clear aqua water filled with a wide variety of tropical fish and the electric blue starfish all just a quick step into the water off the beach. The reef around Samoa causes a natural lagoon so even if the ...
