... they consider this area to be German as far as booking goes. Got myself oriented to the city and the countryside. One of our stops was Hellbrun Palace, and had a wee look at the grounds and the gazebo from the Sound of Music. ... the time. The only option was for me to walk back to Bad Aussee. I groaned at the thought of walking back. But there was no other choice.

I raced back to Bad Aussee for fear of missing the train. I had half an hour to spare when I got to the station. The train station was popular with weekend trip makers. By 'popular' I meant a handful of people. The train was punctual and within half an hour I was back in Bad Ischl.
