... The lake was lovely today. The further out you go the clearer the water it was lovely and warm towards the surface and cool but not cold underneath. It was very easy to swim in no current no waves no salt I reckon given enough time I could swim the whole lake but it would take while I don't think you could rush anything here! The park was fun. ...

... and Jay it's funny because Bobby keeps getting their names wrong. We played in the Lake all afternoon it was great fun I can't wait for tomorrow! Daddy A day to relax. A very hot day. Kids played with their friends in the lake with Bobby jumping off the pontoon at least 2000 times!! The dingy was a source of entertainment. Hot tub, tug boat (as it pulled friends sat on their inflatable ring), destroyer (as they ran over a few kids!), ...

So up with the dawn chorus or so it felt. We had to catch a bus from the nearby town of Strobl to go into Salzburg and it took almost an hour it could have been longer but Mr T(aka Roy Cropper) kept us and the bus driver on track. Salzburg is beautiful the buildings are vet symmetrical and the architecture of and inside the churches and cathedrals is amazing. Even the kids are impressed. Charlotte has taken to being a photographer some her pictures are fantastic ...

... the time. The only option was for me to walk back to Bad Aussee. I groaned at the thought of walking back. But there was no other choice.

I raced back to Bad Aussee for fear of missing the train. I had half an hour to spare when I got to the station. The train station was popular with weekend trip makers. By 'popular' I meant a handful of people. The train was punctual and within half an hour I was back in Bad Ischl.
