Waddling out of the Cafe Sacher, we took the bus back to our pension, jumped in the car and drove a few kilometers to a cable car which took us up 7,000 feet to a mountaintop hiking destination, the Untersberg, from which we could look far into the distance and survey the beautiful countryside below. Our final night before flying back to the UK after 14 weeks travelling around Austria was spent in one of my favourite hotels in Bad Ischl.

We were kindly treated to a company meal in their restaurant which was AMAZING!! And it was really nice to have the use of the spa on our last night.
