Physical exertion, oh my!
So last night, we caught what was supposed to be a deluxe overnight train to Lao Cai on our way to Sapa, a mountainous resort north of Hanoi (374 kms away and it took 10 hours of train and 1 hour of minibus!). We got picked up from hostel and taken to the train station where we were rather confused asa we didn't have tickets, tehy eventually sorted that out!
So we got teh overnight sleeper to Lao Chai, with a French guy on teh same tour! we played soem blackjack on teh nicest train so far and went to sleep. The train stopped a million times...
