    ... slightly disappointed going up the Burj Khalifa as the 'At The Top' observation deck is not even remotely close to the top. Two thirds would be a more accurate description. I think the observation deck at the world trade centre in Shanghai may even be higher?     Found Sharon, Barry and Caramel the camels wandering around. Their front feet are tied so they do not go to far - and are easier to find later that day, and so they don't wander onto the road. Generally they looked pretty happy and mainly free to roam. Had a picnic under a lonely tree and enjoyed the quiet. The temperature hit 40 degrees whilst we were there.

    ... was an Iranian restaurant and although we only ordered a small meal, they brought complimentary starters and after the meal, of which Carole said was the best meal she had had on the whole trip, we were given complimentary tea and dates. It was exceptionally good. There were many people there smoking Hubble bubble pipes. I was tempted but decided not to, perhaps next time. I wondered off to look at the local shops.     In the morning Asoka took Carol to the hospital as she was booked in for an operation. Tanika didn't go to school so she was our tour guide for the day.
    After breakfast we grabbed a taxi and headed to the Dubai Mall, the largest shopping mall in the world, which sits under the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world.
