Last night was a little bit too much fun. I won't be having any red wine tonight. We went to a local bar for one of Bambi's friend's birthday party. I almost signed up to join the barefoot hula hoopers (basically a bunch of hippies who bounce around the town hula hooping).. They do mushrooms though, and I said I would be the weird one who would be happy and crazy without the drugs but everyone at the bar told me it wouldn't work. ...

... we decided perhaps heading back up near Tamarindo where we started the trip and know there is sunshine may be the best option for us as we had no idea what the weather down south was like. It is the beginning of rainy season so it is typical for daily rains... but torrential downpours?! Phewf! We drove on a main highway back where we'd pull off occasionally as the rain was coming down so hard the wipers couldn't keep up.
Once we got back to Tamarindo, the rain stopped! ...
