... hoops light up! sigh...

I woke up late today, and once again, Rhea Lynn made us breakfast. Lush. I eat multiple avocados each day.... I love them. They go well with EVERYTHING!

I spent a couple of hours reading and laying out by the pool before we left for the beach. Then that is exactly what I did there. Relaxed. I was a perfect beach bum. I am quite sure I could do it professionally. Lots of locals were there ...

I just got back from an incredible Zumba class with Rhea Lynn, and Bambi is cooking us dinner. I am super nasty and sweaty and sitting on a suede couch... Why would any one buy a SUEDE couch for a place where you are constantly sweating or wet?! Why would anyone SELL them!? So weird...

I also have a zit the size of Rhode Island on my left cheekbone. I actually think it is 4 zits combined and possibly a mosquito bite too. It is ...

Yesterday when we got ...

The turtles ran to their own schedule, but when they did arrive it was a stunning sight to behold. A short but sweet trip to Playa Sámara almost came up empty on turtles, as nature had it's own plan and the turtles stayed away on my first day. With stunning scenery ...

Beach Hopping Guanacaste

... apart.

There are many factors that influenced our decision to come home early but the fact that Costa Rica is now over-run by American ex-pats - many of whom don't assimilate - was up there. The change in twenty seven years is substantial and it saddens me. Yes, they inject money into the economy but at what expense. In the newspaper last week, there was even a call to do away with Colones and use US currency. Come ...
