We used to come to Langebaan in the early 80's when I was in the Air Force. If you blinked you missed the town. There used to be a boat on the lagoon called the Big Bunny... I think. Friday night parties on the Big Bunny was hectic. 30 Air Force guys and 3 waitresses... Langebaan is a completely different town now. ... head back to the Cape. The weather was marginal at best and it was real cold on the bike without gloves, but luckily it cleared after around 20 minutes and actually turned into the best day we had had since our arrival.

I decided to stop half way back to Cape Town as Janet had mentioned a sore neck on the way out to Langebaan, so we stopped at the West Coast Farm Stall where we tasted some wine and I had the worst pumpkin soup ...
