This time I am going by train. sometime soon I will upload a few photos, I took the overnight train, (2pm in the afternoon to 7:30am in the morning) from Hangzhou to Shenzhen, then a quick hop across the border and metro to Wan Chai where the Visa office is.

... where 100's of people were waiting. An extremely efficient system meant that we weren't waiting in line for long, as the taxi's were shuttled through the tunnel very quickly. Our taxi driver dropped us off, unfortunately at the wrong gates, so we had a bit of a walk. This wouldn't have been a problem if we hadn't had so much luggage. ... is also constructed for the laziest of the tourists, offering little shuttle-scooters around the flat and easy to walk lake-side promenade and (yes unbelievable but true) an automatic staircase and an elevator to the top of the five story pagoda.

Unfortunately the city is sooooo popular not only among foreigners but primarily among Chinese, with massive tourist crowds even in November in off-season. I definitely do not recommend coming here during peak-season, ever. ...
