Hangzhou – very beautiful but too popular
... is also constructed for the laziest of the tourists, offering little shuttle-scooters around the flat and easy to walk lake-side promenade and (yes unbelievable but true) an automatic staircase and an elevator to the top of the five story pagoda.
Unfortunately the city is sooooo popular not only among foreigners but primarily among Chinese, with massive tourist crowds even in November in off-season. I definitely do not recommend coming here during peak-season, ever. ...
