When we arrived at Los Angeles we went to our hotel but our room wasn't ready so we went to the Santa Monica Pier. The rides weren't open so we looked at all the shops. On our way back we had McDonalds for lunch. We were hoping our hotel room was ready so we could have a nice big rest. We were awoken at 6.45am by a knock on the RV door – it was security for WALMART saying that they don't allow campervans and we had 2hrs to get ourselves moving. Both of us were still totally stuffed from the late night before. We slept for another hour then decided we’d better move as we had to return the RV that morning and also pick up a rental car for the day.

Richard slept like a baby snored his box off after taking a sleeping pill, me I was restless my mind was racing (doing a Mother thing) knowing we had to be up in three hours I think I got a little bit of sleep.
