... it being Labor Day. Even the ride through Cincinnati was done with no issues, again probably because of the holiday and Bill's scheduling us through at 7 pm. The temperatures stayed moderate (84 max) all day and we found ourselves in Florence, KY ay 8 pm with 620 miles down and a reasonable ride facing us to get home tomorrow. ... in anticipation of the ride home. My hope is this offering to the rain gods will keep us dry all the way to Nesbit. The bike show at the rally was actually pretty well attended and organized, especially when the rain was taken into account. As we walked along I noticed what I thought was a lot of leaves fallen down along hte hillside and it turned out to be shale peices. Of course I had to put one in my pocket for our meager collection of stones.
A fun little stop which got us some hiking in an otherwise long day of driving and shopping.
