    ... the Hollywood sign close up, so I was a bit disappointed not to do that. We did however visit Madame Tussaud's.     ... I came. The people I met here made my stay unforgettable and showed me such generosity that I can only hope one day I can pay it forward. The drive down to San Diego and the border was a mix of emotions...the last 3 months in the States has been an incredible experience filled with the most amazing people and a big part of me has no desire to leave...but my visa is nearly up and now the "adventure" part begins. Mexico is calling.....

As usual I was cursed for making the team carry all their gear up a hill surrounded by locals in tee shirts or topless (showing off sweaty six packs) feeling very out of place, not to mention hot and out of breath. But the view and cool breeze at the top was appreciated and the stroll back down was lovely. It was a very LA thing to do.
