The night before
School's out, work is on pause and the cottage industry is closed for Christmas. It's finally here after months of waiting and we're all beside ourselves with excitement.
The bags are packed (with space to spare thanks to Annette's frugal choice of clothes) and we have even managed to find room for Ellie much to Esther's relief.
We've got so many exciting new experiences ahead of us crammed into a 7 week trip. South East Asia here we come!

We must have walked about an hour or so, and since it was Uncle Daves golf day we went back home to relax for a little while. I ended up curling up on the couch, watching "You've got mail" while I booked my train/ hostels for Scotland.
