      Captivating Cape Cod

... the inner harbour for a beer while I enjoyed an icecream!! The narrow streets filled with interesting shops & galleries & were unique & delightful to stroll around. It was another gem of a find for us as we had no idea what was waiting for us on Cape Cod. I have to say though I would hate it in the summer as there is only one main road in & out of the Cape and very little parking space at the beaches!

... route to Provincetown on Cape Cod, Mary played "Old Cape Cod" by Patti Page---an oldie, for sure, but timely. Our surroundings were greener than before, a change from the bright foliage colors we had been seeing. We had lunch in town with friends at a little out-of-the-way place called Lunch Box. After a bit of exploring, we were back on the bus and heading southeast again to Hyannis, where we would spend ...

walked around Nantucket on my own for about an hour but spent much of
the time visiting a person I've chatted with on Cruise Critic. Shiela
runs a very nice B&B (Centre Street Inn). We chatted for about an hour
over a cup of coffee before I left to visit the Whaling Museum. There
were displays of ships, the life of whalers, the processing of whale products, some skeletal remains, and a rooftop observation ...
