... It's still pretty early but we ate breakfast at 5:15 this morning. We enjoyed very much our pizza and Sangria and then shared a tiramisu for dessert. Our server was Sara from Mexico. She took excellent care of us. We next amble over to the international cafe for a chocolate chip cookie. Just waiting for 1 pm to be able to go to our cabin. ... and bed! Woke up at 3.30 a.m. USA time which was to be my usual time for a couple of days and then eventually moving to 5.30 a.m. which wasn't too bad! Hopefully I am now done with jet lag and I can move on!
Spent the next five days catching up with old friends from the time we used to live here - plenty of laughs together and food and wine! Can't beat it!
Did go to the huge Millenia Mall to do a bit ...
... br> Now the hotel that we stayed at was not the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in, but it would do for the amount of time we were staying there. We had to do a little shopping since we didn't have any clothes except for the ones we were wearing and pick up the essentials that would last us until we got our stuff. After we went shopping we went out for supper at this Italian restaurant, which had some of the best pizza I had ever eaten. We left the restaurant about an hour later ...
... Katrina picked up and dropped stuff like this in the swamp land… you'll see the water line was well up over the height of the houses in the rough neighbourhood - look for the mould on the walls of some of them.. it shows it was over the roof top.. Crazy!!

... area heading up the highway to West Palm Beach and overcast skies. Dean dropped us at the bead shop and he and Doug had a coffee etc and then they came back for us….big damage to the CC !!!
From there it didn’t take long to get to a restaurant called Havana where Jean and Dean’s son was meeting us …. too much to choose from … Dean ordered a plate of Tomale for us to share and I had fish and salad with yellow rice on ...
