10'x15'... the past 5 years, 2 bedrooms and 4 floors of our home is now crammed into a one cinder-block cell, the mail has been stopped (doubt I'll miss it) and tenants who will be kindly paying our mortgage for the next 12months are now moved in and we're officially "homeless".
Bethany Beach is where we'll be calling home for the next few weeks, until we jump out on the road at the end of July.
I could think of worse places to lay-low for awhile.
... for a white tray with cut up pieces of chicken, and I had to tell him again that wasn't turkey. Now he's all confused, so a girl takes over making my sub. How can you work in a sub shop, and not know what turkey slices look like? Public education at work. After two days of sandwich construction we finally get our lunch, and head for the beach. ... got there. This didn't work to well when dolphins showed up at the dock we left, so we had to turn around to come back. The tour was fabulous though because after that we saw wild ponies, osprey, and the lighthouse. Our tour guide also was awesome. After our boat tour we hit Mister Whippy for ice cream. Donna wanted to hit a few shops to work off the ice cream, and follow that up with a stop for fudge. We hit a couple ...
... and the kids have gone back (I hate that part and it never gets any easier no matter how old they are...), it is time to get ready for our next adventures.
We will be leaving our condo on the 31st to head out to my brother-in-law's to celebrate the New Year. We will then take the train to New York City in order to board the Queen Mary on the 3rd in the afternoon and sail for a week to England where we will spend 9 days with our dear ...
... care and an additional night in a regular room. The incision was much larger that I imagined but not very painful so after a few weeks I was up and around and at this point I am back to normal. I was told that the clots were very serious and had I waited I could have died or lost a leg so I guess I am lucky. Good news..no restriction on my diet and after extensive testing the rest of my systems seem to be in good shape. ...
