... the city a little and I used my excess Swedish money from my layover! The little ancient part of town was so pretty, another 'I'm really in Europe' moment. The shops all looked like they were a part of the "it's a small world" ride at Disneyland or like a model room at ikea. Very interesting mix. The plan was to head to Copenhagen today but a couple of us weren't feeling a 100% so we decided to have a quieter day around Malmo. We had a little shopping to do before the cruise so spent sometime looking around the shops, we bought in food for lunch as Malmo is expensive to eat out,and then we headed to the Modern Art Museum. We were a little disappointed with the exhibition, which was of photos from their own collection. We had expected a little more! ...

    ... ever 'selfie'.

We had seen the 'Diana' statue through the bus window on our way to the arena one day. Today, we found it on our walk. Diana ~ the Goddess of the Hunt, the Moon & Birthing. She was believed to have the power to talk to and control animals. The statue shows an abstract figure of Diana, surrounded by 15 running deer. The body of Diana is made up of a badger supporting a family of bears, which support pigs. Her head is ...
