Puff, the magic dragon lived by the sea And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honah Lee, Little Jackie paper loved that rascal puff, And brought him strings and sealing wax and other fancy stuff. And so it came to pass that we left the hot torrid lands of español for the coolness of the Netherlands. Cool and efficient, but it must be said they do know how to party! We decided to stay in Rotterdam, rather than the capital Amsterdam, simply due to the ...

    The Medieval City

Lubeck is beautiful. The city has so many medieval buildings that you have to stop taking photos when you realise that you are nearly photographing the whole town! Today was a errand day at Lund--I got my ID card (check that out!), signed some paperwork, tried to get internet, etc. And Manja also took me to the grocery store to buy some stamps and learn what yogurt actually looks like. :)

So now I'm back at my house. I'm getting pretty hungry, so I better go figure out how to use this oven. Any thoughts?

    Till next time!

... and then smaller squares. The city hall building was amazing and we saw the first house in Malmo to have a second floor added and a building that was also built in the small square in the 1500's. It is incredible how they mix the new architecture withe the old and make the buildings look seamless. It is great that these cities value their heritage and incorporate it into their communities. We then went to see ...
