    We finished our last locks of the trip! Yahoo!
    We stayed at the Troy public docks and walked the city area. It was hopping with many people beginning their weekend celebrations and lots of outdoor restaurants were full of diners enjoying the warm summer night.

    ... rest after our first three in a row back from the lovely break. We hit the ground running and didn’t stop until we were at the hotel room. I slept for three hours than went out to the local Wal-Mart for a few small items. After returning back to my room, I chilled out for a bit and went to bed. I can’t believe how tired I am.

    ... end of the guardrail was demolished. I asked if anyone needed first aid, and the other helpers said that everyone in the truck seemed to be OK, miraculously! They were just concerned about their two dogs, also in the U-Haul. So, away we went, continuing on our journey.

    Smooth sailing until we got just north of Albany, NY. Rude drivers, tailgating; Larry was almost rear-ended. And my "eagle" ...

    So today was good. The second day of the institute for the SEN administrators and what a shift from yesterday. I enjoyed yesterday afternoons session, but was apprehensive about what today might bring and whether it would be more relevant to me. It was, and the first keynote was from Dr. Paula Kluth, who was fast paced, insightful and funny too.
