... some English songs in fornt of him, which is usually unheard of - only ever when I am in the car on my own with the radio on, and then I stop if a car is infront of me or coming in the other direction. However, I soon found out that pretty much the only songs I know more than a few lines to are christmas songs - thank god it's not July. I also discovered, poout in the desert, that I still have a lot of growing up tpo do as just couldn't resist drawing pretty paterns in the sand!

Hellish travels! Ode to Johnny Walker!

I wake up from an hour and half nap, after roughly two days of no sleeping, anxious and discombobulated. It's 5:00 am and there's a thunderstorm downpour outside. I need to make it over to Beth's apartment to swap gear (give her back the backpack she lent me for my trip to China and get my laptop bag back and a bag with all of my bank account info in Korea.) Hailed a taxi after trudging through the rain with three huge suitcases. All of my things are ...

... exactly which meter he can insert his 10 Euro Parking fee request into. You have to admire the bloke for trying though. On the road and at the first gas station we meet up with an entourage of 17 bikes, mostly middle aged Brits on new reg Beemers on a guided tour of Morocco. Seems like this Ewan and Charlie thing has infected everyone these days, but they are a nice bunch of folks. Better they are here than Benidorm we reason. Around the town of ...

OMG! Camels!

Hello all, sorry for not posting the last couple days, but it would have been slightly difficult seeing as i was IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SAHARA DESERT!! ;) I flew from Milan to London Gatwick, where i had a 26hr stopover (which happened to be overnight) and then on from there to Marrakech. I found a nice row of benches in the airport and had a reasonably peaceful sleep, or at least i would have if the overhead announcers didn't keep reminding passengers "please have luggage ...

Camels and the Sahara Desert

... When we walked up to the Camels, Leith was in front of me to get the next camel, but BB started screaming, moaning and jumping around. Leith look at the guide with a scared look on his face and said "no bloody way am I getting on that Camel, mate". So I got stuck with BB, it was an experience, I was walking like a gunslinger for the rest of the night, BB was nuts I kept feeling like I was going to fall off. It was a laugh that ...

... stopped at the local station, Nat had to run into the washroom, I quickly followed as the place was sketchy. After that we loaded up again and we a few hours from Rissani, we pulled into another bus station(rather small, in a back alley) as we waited for some people to got off, I happened to notice this younger man helping a old man, walk down into this alley.
