... Jacques arrived and he escorted us to the 2nd of his riads (a couple of minutes walk away). We were pretty tired and frustrated by the time Jacques arrived so he did well to sit us down and share his tips on what to do and where to eat in Marrakech.

soaps in orange blossom, rose and jasmin made just outside Marrakech on an organic farm. I have to accept hand cut pieces of soap as the cutting machine has broken or disappeared-I couldnt understand the french description of the problem-but they still smell wonderful;
wool carpets from the carpet auction;
sparkling wedding blankets to place over beds and to use for rugs and wall hangings..... the list is endless as was the haggling ...
