... een dagje geskied. Was echt heerlijk, heel mooi uitzicht en ongewoon warm en mooi weer voor de tijd van het jaar. Hierdoor wel wat weinig sneeuw, maar dat mocht de pret niet drukken.

I am thousands of miles away from Idaho, yet I feel like I am home while on the highway. The Lake District in Patagonia remind me of parts of Idaho. There are the pine trees in the mountains, there are rough and rocky mountains, there are stones along the clear river. Every once in a while, I see a bush that is the same of similar kind of bush in my backyard.

Bariloche - Argentina's Banff/Whistler
... hostel due to lack of availability at the Green House. The Alaska Hostel room we were assigned was pretty cramped as you you can probably tell from some of the pictures it was very wooden and creaky which made for a couple restless nights. The owner was very nice and told me about some of the best hikes to take around the area.

Bariloche.. WOW
... I bought the DVD of pics :)). Anyways, you can see in the pics how foggy it looks in the background, this is all ash cloud. Its really a pity actually as if it was a clear day the pics would have been amazing... you can get the idea from the pics from our cycle how crystal clear the water usually is... but nevertheless it was a fun little afternoon of paddling :)
