they were saying "pleesa goa homma" haha. It was so funny but they were a great bunch of people and we all had so much fun together. The owner Fabrizio said at the end Australia 1 e Italia 0, saying that we beat them. Haha. We now have gym buddies in Fagnano. So cool!
We stayed in for dinner cooking some fresh Vegetables from the garden. Buona note Fagnano.
... to pick us up this morning and take us and our luggage to the next stop 1.5 hours drive away! For no charge! Very kind! The driver dropped us off where our starting point was and then he took the luggage to our accommodation. Ended up in the pretty fishing village, Acciaroli, after 41/2 hours walk in the hot sun but we were lucky to have the odd coastal breeze occasionally and headed straight for a gelati shop on the marina in the town , plonked down and stayed there for about 2 hours. ... the wrong one! And crazy looks from locals when we told them where we had walked from...and this was only 2 hours of walking! Temperature rising, hottest July day for 10 years, well into 30's, climbed for 2 hours through rugged countryside finding the odd bit of yellow paint when painted on a rock or tree, at a beautiful hotel restaurant called a palazzo and plonked down, shoes off and lots of cold drinks.
