So, I've been here a week now. I feel a little bit lost as I'm very much ready to go out and do something and explore and adventure every evening, but because of our location, it's quite difficult to do without relying on someone here that has a car, which is only 2 people. Car unpacked and sold.....26,000km and eight months of loyal service! Now all we have to do is cull all this stuff we have accumulated. Barbara was excited to finally be in Italy. But she never dreamed she would walk to Italy! The downhill to Refugio Elisabetta was pretty easy and through yet another gorgeous valley. We arrived mid-afternoon. The name of the place made me think of my mother a bit. Wish she was here.
