    ... in today. After an hour lunch there, we pressed on in the heat, leaving by 4:30pm. It was hot enough to give me a headache. Luckily, thunder clouds started rumbling.     ... of the low flowing creek. When we arrived to the road, a class of 2013 PCTer was in vicinity camping and offered us a ride. At first we refused, but when she mentioned that the Seiad Cafe closes at 2pm, we reevaluated and decided to accept the ride. It was 11:45.     ... it, only a few curious hikers. We did recognize a few names. Of-course we signed it. Continuing on, we climbed up to Paradise Lake to have lunch there. We found JenRaffe here and had lunch with her here for about 1.5 hours. After lunch, the trail climbed steeply again before down climbing 4000 feet to the next campsite with water.     ... place was. He recommended Kaleidoscope Pizza, just down the road a bit. That was wonderful pizza! We got a small Peter Griffin Pizza – pepperoni, ground beef, bacon, smoked ham, cheddar, mozzarella and provolone cheese and marinara sauce.

    Today was our first day of class, and we just hopped right in. Which makes sense as we are condensing a normally six month course, into only one month. Class starts at 8:00 am, with breakfast at 7:30, which means we have to wake up a little before 7:00, in order to shower and drive/walk to the classroom. I and three others decided to walk ...
