      ... lines to contend with but traffic was light and I could at least drive slowly and absorb the splendour. It truly is awesome, mile after mile.

      It was meant to be a short day but by the time we stopped for photos plus this and that and something else it was nearly 4:30 before we got to a campsite for the night. Found a nice spot on Lake Couchiching which is separated from Lake Simcoe by a narrow neck of land.

      The day turned out to be quite nice. Some overcast sky, some clouds and mostly sunny by the afternoon.       ... We were lucky enough to see one of Jason's projects, a cottage he had designed and built on the lake. We went up on Monday to go out on the boat but the weather had other ideas. The cottage was amazing and had just been sold for $3 million. It was nothing like a cottage at home. It was more like a mansion.
