... the originals inside the building to preserve them and had replacements made. Up close they are amazingly lifelike made out of copper and very cool. Wondered around the little alleyways for hours taking in the essence of Venice. Paid for my first toilet today, managed to get away with it so far using cafe's and paid tourist attractions. It's definitely cheaper buying that than paying for a ticket one at a time. We rode our water bus ride for a couple of stops and checked in our hotel. The room that we got was fancy. It's a bit older, but it still looked nice. ...

... as Venice is walking streets only. I split from the group with a few girls (Melanie, Megan, Katie) and we walked around, buying masks, Venetian glass, gelato, and trying to lose ourselves in the labyrinth of streets but ended up doing a big circle and finding ourselves without meaning to! It was a nice day, despite being a bit cold, and we met up with the group for a gondola trip. We had 5 people in our boat (me, Dylan, Chris, Megan, Katie) and all the gondolas worked their way ...
