... something to eat then slept for 13 hours the first night!! After the non stop pace of Peru, we decided LA should be about resting so we went to the cinema twice (Hunger games and the new Hobbit film) and ate burgers and Cheesecake Factory - red velvet cheesecake (ok that was just me and my giant slice!) and did a bit of shopping. ... convenience and safety was paramount. Out into the noise and hustle bustle, we laughed at a guy dressed as goofy with a big "Go F&#*k yourself" sign. I had to have a photo with the infamous Mel's drive in restaurant sign before moving to the Hollywood walk. ... into another world, this place is full of hippies and weirdos, had lunch here and watched the world go by. A quick walk to Muscle beach, expecting to see some muscle men, but few to be seen. ... to the music. We thought that Disney California's World of Colour would have to be incredible to beat it, but more on that later! After the fireworks, the huge crowd, several thousand strong, headed to the Rivers of America for Mickey's 'Fantasmic' show. ... 100 Degrees at times which is in the High 30s Celsius so will definitely need to keep on top of my water consumption,

I'm Currently waiting for one of the Coachella group to pick me up, the vague plan is to set off early tomorrow morning to get to Indio for a 9:15 meet-up of the whole group, however before that I need to go to Will Call to get my ticket so we'll see how it all pans out.
