    Tuesday I left Prescott, AZ and my friend Sue's home in the hills (I'm so glad I got to see her) and drove through northern Arizona, past Flagstaff and Lake Powell (mini Lake Mead). It took about 7 hours but I finally made it to the East entrance of the park. What a spectacular canyon that opens almost as soon as I crossed the threshold of the entrance.
