... that Dark Roast Iced Coffee was delicious!
So we turned on the cruise control, turned up the stereo and headed north. The ride was just as boring as expected until about 100 miles in when we reached the Arizona border. It them became obvious why there was only one road. The huge Rocky Mountains were in front of us, and we were looking to see how the Interstate went across, when we realized that there was a narrow, ...

... point to the national park wasn’t through this town and was through Bryce, which was another hour away. We were really getting tired of today and decided that Escalante was a boring ****** town so we would suck it up and drive another hour to Bryce and stay there.

Access to hiking in Zion is via their shuttle bus. They picked us up at the Visitor Center and transported us through the park. We stopped at the lodge and hiked the Emerald Grotto. Very nice but didn't compare to the ...

Started out first thing for the national park. Kent loves his free lifetime pass (one time fee of 10.00 ) and all national parks are free. You have to be a senior, however, so it does have its drawbacks. Anyway, it was cold and windy but sunny. What a beautiful place. We'll have to go back there when we can stay for a while and hike around. Loved ...
