... pretty quickly.

It was a pretty uneventful day; traveling through Ohio and Indiana isn’t too exciting. We stopped in Effingham, IL, which is about 100 miles east of St. Louis. We were able to get a “buddy site” at this campground and had a great dinner; BLTs and corn on the cob.

Mike is suffering with a bad back, probably a pinched nerve. We are hoping that a heat pad, some Advil and a good night’s sleep will remedy ...

Hi everyone. Well, we are on our way west. We left Michigan yesterday and made it to Effingham, Illinois before we stopped for the night. Across from the hotel was a local steakhouse that came highly recommended by the hotel clerk. The prices were very reasonable and the food - well, let's just say we got what we paid for. 830 am- and we are on the road. Scotts valley here we come!! Raining and dark 1000 am- the rain has stopped and we are heading south.
