... the day before that our flight at 5pm the next day was already 2.5 hours delayed. This happened to be just long enough that we would miss our connecting flight in Buenos Aires so the airline put us up in a hotel for the night before our 6:40am flight to Mendoza the next day. ... the road from sliding off the mountain. I do not know how many switchbacks there are, but I managed to snap a shot of the 28th curve as we neared the top. Additionally there were these concrete tunnels that are obviously built on some parts of the road subject to major problems during the winter. These tunnels were generally open on one side. ... a look around before tasting the most delicious olives ever. We tried the olives, extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, olive paste, olive paste with garlic and olives with chillies. They were amazing. Next we tried some sweet jams and finally some spirits.
