... glance around and see mum's back pack sitting on the chair, but mum boarding the ferry. I picked it up and told Ryan, who thought it would be funny to hide it in his jacket until which point that she realized, predicting she would do the usual 'oh no' stomp like a 2 year old. It wasn't until we were getting off the ferry again that she realized, immediately suspecting that Ryan had it in his jacket. He told her that he didn't have it though - only his own. We have been living in Toronto now for four weeks and we are enjoying life here. Quite a different life style from hot humid Vientiane!

Our flight over here was good and we both managed to get some sleep. All in all, a good day out.

... drove me to Toronto. So . . . I arrived in town much later than anticipated, but hey, at least I got there. And the Airbnb apartment I rented was lovely.

Toronto was, well, a city. We went shopping in Queen West (I highly recommend Change lingerie and Tealish), saw Sperm Wars as part of the Fringe Festival, and did a lot of eating and drinking. Oh, and we had high tea at the King Edward Hotel.
