... driving, accompanied by my Sat Nav, Thomasina. Unfortunately, she didn't know that part of the M56 was closed, and it took me two hours to arrive back at my starting point. Fortunately I got hold of Sarah on the phone and she was able to give me a new route and I arrived in Reading at 6:00 p.m. to spend two nights with Rosaleen in her new, and lovely, flat with a view of the Thames, including ducks and swans.

... for my luggage when someone smacks my a$$. It is my man who arrived before me in my hometown and who obviously missed me! Along with my mom and sister who failed at surprising me (thank you Find Friends on the iPhone), I endlessly wait for my suitcase that never showed up. We eat some Tim Hortons and my suitcase finally gets there at 11pm. I am exhausted (it is 4am for me after all), but being in Montreal, even for just a few days, is priceless... ...
