... where I lived on google maps, and shocked that I was 'traveling the world' and didn't even know the population of Adelaide! They were keen for me to see everything: the photos of the big snowfall this winter, the box in which their cats ashes were from it's cremation, a sausage of peperoni which they were sure we didn't have in Australia! They were very hospitable, offering us food every two seconds and chatting about everything. Early rise tomorrow to get to the ferry in time.

On the second day of the 'Doors Open' Toronto weekend I targeted some different areas of the city but would have to use public transit today as parking would be an issue for some locations.

Leaving from Pearson International Airport, I had stops in Montreal and Amsterdam before arriving in Madrid. My plane left at 4pm Toronto time and arrived in Madrid at noon Madrid time (6am Toronto time!). By far my biggest worry was if my bag was going to make it to Madrid with 3 stops along the way. ... that Matt was very impressed with before getting down to the Lakeside to find it frozen solid.
The bit we got to was not main Lake Ontario but the bit between Toronto city and Toronto Island and it was frozen stiff - unnentertaining for the workman we asked but pretty fascinating on us.
