    Who let the dogs out?

... reminded me of my Grandad. Just as the early shift people left and before the close people started there was just me and one other on poolside. It was at this time about five rugby teams, who had just been involved in a tournament, graced the pool with their rather muddy presence. There must have been about 150 15 year old boisterous boys. They were fighting and splashing and god knows what else and it was a bit manic. I was literally thinking the entire ...

Sunday's morning welcomed us much warmly. It was not raining and also forecast was promising. The only thing keeping me going has been the many new foods I've tried since my arrival. Some of my favorites are chicken flavored potato chips, crumpets, and raspberry buns. In other news, hot tea and vegemite are still gross. I will check in later in the week with more pictures hopefully!

... we had a table overlooking the lake! We enjoyed a fabulous meal (local fish and chips and veggie pasta)!! We walked off our lunch by visiting Queenstown gardens, they have a 18 hole frisbee golf course in the gardens which is fab! We had a lovely walk around for an hour enjoying the beautiful gardens and the views of the lake before we checked out the musicians on a big stage in the town centre getting ready for tonight's Queenstown Winter Festival! It was about 3pm when ...
