A travel blog entry by cphenly on Aug 08, 2014

We're off today for our anniversary trip--we're headed to West Virginia for a ballgame, a drive-in, and an ATV tour. After lunch Dean and I started work on building a new duck house from scratch for all the ducks! We worked on it all afternoon and Dean actually continued till midnight to finish it! It was cool to be able to work on the project cause I got to learn about measurements and drilling holes, ...

We done a day trip to the historic village of Harpers Ferry which borders 3 states. A great little place for lunch and packed with tourists.
The next day we took a quick ride up to West Virginia so I could tick another state off on my bike then we headed for Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive.
Had an amazing ride along the ridge of the mountains with stunning fall scenery. Even saw a couple of baby bears in a tree which caused the usual 'bear jam'. ...
