    ... though I didn't get the usual trip-ending Phoebe-on-the-Suitcase photo. She was too busy sitting on the shipping carton in which her kitty litter came). Our next trip is the real vacation trip for the summer: we will be off to Colorado to cheer David and Michele on in the Pike's Peak Marathon, and then we will be touring the southwestern part of the state.     ... purpose of making a complete map. After the usual arrangements with house sitter and chasing cats off of luggage, we set out about 7:45a.m. for the drive to Youngstown, Ohio. The weather is gorgeous, today, so we're in for a nice ride. I did not bring my laptop, as our time is pretty prescribed, but will be doing a little on-the-fly mobile blogging, which I have not tried before. More anon!

    ... of one of my geocaching adventures: there is a challenge cache (in a park in northern Virginia) which I have already found, and which requires me to collect at least one cache in every state park before I can legitimately log the find of that original challenge cache. I've found caches in 16 of the 36 parks so far; today's adventures would add two more.

    ... After that I went with Zach to move the chicken house and once that was done it was time to start getting ready for our road trip! We packed up lunches, drinks, etc and off we went!
