... to see their ailing father. First to arrive was Rick's son David and his wife, Dawn who drove 12 hours from San Diego. He was surprised to say the least. The next day his daughters, Kelly and Stacy, flew up from Long Beach. It was a real boost to his morale to see his kids. The time spent together was sweet and special.

... sightseeing spots, such as Alcatraz, but also how multicultural it is. In a few miles radius of each other, I ate Hunan food, Italian and classic 50's American food! It was a unique experience and I much preferred it to Sydney.
On a whole, I really really enjoyed our holiday and I believe it surpassed my expectations and even, in my opinion, was the best holiday I've ever had!

Anyway, it was open house so they invited us in. Today we left LAX for Greece. So happy someone told us to leave earlier than we planned because the security lines at LAX Tom Bradley International Terminal took us forever to get through. We also found out that at least on Lufthansa Airlines they now limit your carry on to 16 lbs each. So no more carrying your wheel along international bag, instead pack a big ass bag instead, there is no charge and you arrive ...
