We also wanted to do a cooking class whilst in Hanoi, so the first day we arrived we walked about 30 minutes to the cooking school. As we were nearing the school, Ollie casually stated he has read that it might be closed today! Indeed it was closed so we turned around and walked back to our hotel. In the end we decided $60 each was too expensive for a cooking class anyway.
