Refreshed after our motel stay, we carried on down to City of Rocks on Thursday, September 11th. We've been here twice before, but even though the last time was eight years ago, it all felt very familiar. The scenery is amazing - granite domes and pinnacles in strange sculpted formations, rising out of high rolling desert.

Some think we are crazy winging things, but I feel the more people we meet over there, the more we will learn. A week to go! So much to do! Getting the family and home lined out is the focus at this time. Not to mention lining out the 4-H kiddos, FFA duties etc.

I think my poor little dog Willow will be hit harder than Dan and Janessa. (Ya, the half weenie dog, 1/2 black lab bundle of joy.......don't ask!)

Plans are falling in to place, and we will start in Munich, Germany with ...

... to end the day in Burley at a nice and cool Best Western.

One interesting experience was at a antique mall along the way. We had just pulled into the parking lot when another couple pulled in right beside us with almost the exact trailer. They were from Illinois and had been out to Glacier National Park.

Hopefully two more days and we'll be home. Time will tell.

Left Pendleton OR this morning to a beautiful sunrise, traveling into Idaho. Some nice scenery starting out then miles of Alfalfa & Hayfields, and throughout the state if their we're fields with crops they are all irrigated. Seeing cattle farms as well. We're also lucky to have seen a herd of Antelope when we travelled through Idaho. Staying the night in Declo ID, RV park along the Snake ...
