... then on to neighbouring number 32 (our favourite) for the next four nights. This was a lovely secluded site, with our own private stargazing rock. Because City of Rocks is so far from any built-up areas, the night skies are fantastic. The Milky Way is a dense band across the sky and we saw loads of shooting stars.

The nearest town is Almo, population 166, about 15 minutes drive down ...

... England on the Eurostar through the chunnel and we will jump right in to Hostel living. Not sure how we are getting to Paris, but we will find a way to arrive on the 16th.

After Paris, we have a night ferry to Caen, France so will bundle up well in our bags and kick back, hoping for some shut eye on the way over. If you have to travel, might as well save some $ and sleep the night ...

... to end the day in Burley at a nice and cool Best Western.

One interesting experience was at a antique mall along the way. We had just pulled into the parking lot when another couple pulled in right beside us with almost the exact trailer. They were from Illinois and had been out to Glacier National Park.

Hopefully two more days and we'll be home. Time will tell.

Left Pendleton OR this morning to a beautiful sunrise, traveling into Idaho. Some nice scenery starting out then miles of Alfalfa & Hayfields, and throughout the state if their we're fields with crops they are all irrigated. Seeing cattle farms as well. We're also lucky to have seen a herd of Antelope when we travelled through Idaho. Staying the night in Declo ID, RV park along the Snake ...
