      ... Having seen them in Trindade we all fancied a go; and it definitely looks easier than it is ( though I'm inclined to blame my lack of balance to the beers being consumed...)! Only a couple of us managed more than a few steps along the rope before a young girl, she must've been around ten or eleven, tried it out and calmly walked across the rope and back without so much as a single wobble. Needless to say, we were pretty amazed - and completely defeated!

      ... going was before we left, the hostel owner said that there were 22 Norwegians arriving today. After walking 17.2 km, 5 hrs, felt like 10hrs, we finally made it to the hostel. Just before we walk in what looked like the Men's Norwegian water polo team walk out. What ever hope we had left just fell straight through the floor.       Today was always going to be a beach day, and after discussions last night, we decided that we would do just over half a day at Lopez mendes, one of the best beaches in the world according to trip advisor rather than push ourselves on a dawn til dusk day cruise!
