      ... ostrov použivam ke shromažďování zločinců a také nemocnych a postizenych. Bruno z penzionu nám řekl o zkratce džunglí k troskách stareho vezeni. Na základě našich zkušeností z předchozího dne jsme vyrazili v našich trekovych botach. Vyrazili jsme asi v 1 hodinu odpoledne a bylo neskutecne horko.

      ... walk so we didn't need to catch a boat to get there, like we did yesterday. The sand was almost black in colour ( which explained why the name of the beach translated into English was black!), and the waves were far less wild than at Lopes Mendez.       ... lethal local drink, made up of a lot of vodka, ice and lime. Strong ****. Mossies cover the island and their bites cover my legs. Mossies are just so frickashrickafrickafricka. They're like repellant schmellant. Nom nom nom. We definitely made the most of it at Ilha Grande, first a pointless, all day trek. Followed by a night of Caprihanas that put us to sleep till midday.
