We went to a park with a beach at the Balneario do Sol. The water is supposed to be very calm and clear there, but there had been torrential downpours yesterday causing the water to be murky. I walked around for a bit, saw some capuchin monkeys and caught a glimpse of a hummingbird. That was fine by me!

Today was a long travel day. We went from Paraty to Bonito. The weather was okay but we learned there was heavy rain in Bonito all day and for a few days before. The river was really clean and had designated swimming area with life guards. Many fish were in the water and just came up to you in the water.
