Bonito, cave tour

A travel blog entry by mattandelisha on Feb 08, 2013

... a swim. The ride took about 30 minutes straight through town and down the main road. When we arrived the reserve was nice. The river was really clean and had designated swimming area with life guards. Many fish were in the water and just came up to you in the water. We hung out at the reserve for a couple hours in the sun before it began to rain. It eased of so we started to head back to the hostel on the bikes. It was tougher on the way back, a little up hill. ... trip or cutting it short. I want to go home that's the reality but I feel like a failure if I do and I will have lost so much money. Not sure what to do. Spoke to Rob briefly too he was supportive but I still don't know what to do, plus I'm running out of cash. At least I got the double bed, Kim and Caroline are on the bunks, ...

FYI, on the way home the clouds parted, the rain stopped and the sun light up the entire sky! There was barely a ...

... ago. A quick walk down the high street showed just 2 bars but we loved it as it felt so chilled and like you were by the beach not hundred's of miles from it.

You couldn't do everything on offer tour wise so we plummeted for the most expensive trip of river snorkelling and the cheapest option of chilling at the local municipal park.

The day at the park involved a 7.5km drag to get there which me, Em and Lars tackled by running while 4 others ...

... of the fish but was super brave and eventually jumped in with us for a swim. We seen some toucans in the trees. I got a few pictures but my zoom wasn´t quite good enough. The parrots were less shy. There were tons of them. They were really pretty blue and red ones. So after boring everybody with photos of waterfalls you will now be fed up of parrots!!! Me and Mary were parrot stalkers but they loved it. Show offs really!!! ...
