We went to a park with a beach at the Balneario do Sol. The water is supposed to be very calm and clear there, but there had been torrential downpours yesterday causing the water to be murky. I walked around for a bit, saw some capuchin monkeys and caught a glimpse of a hummingbird. That was fine by me!

Nach einem letzten Frühstück auf der Fazienda, fuhr uns Fabian mit dem Safarijeep in die nächstgelegene Kleinstadt, wo bereits ein kleiner Privatbus auf uns wartete. ... a swim. The ride took about 30 minutes straight through town and down the main road. When we arrived the reserve was nice. The river was really clean and had designated swimming area with life guards. Many fish were in the water and just came up to you in the water. ... trip or cutting it short. I want to go home that's the reality but I feel like a failure if I do and I will have lost so much money. Not sure what to do.
