Travel Blogs from Ilha Grande
We were sad to say goodbye to Rio but excited to go to a place completely different from the cities we have seen so far. The journey was a four hour bus ride to the port and then a further 45 minute boat ride across to the little island of Ilha Grande, and we knew nothing of what to expect, only that it was a highly recommended place to visit. Time to head out and grab a bite to eat and a few Caiprinhas of course! No sign of the Aussie girls we met last night at the hostel, hope to see them out and about!

Great little place 5 mins walk from main area. Lovely hosts but very expensive stay and they only take cash, no credit cards.
