    ... and the GPS was set to take us by the shortest route - well, it might have been the shortest route on a map but the narrow roads in the Devon countryside slowed us down considerably.     The weather on Thursday morning was a bit overcast and drizzly as we drove out of Cardiff heading west towards the Welsh Town, Neath, where Bruce’s great great grandmother, Margaret Jenkins was born in the early 1800s.
