... heard from a few sources that the Underground Tour of Seattle was well worth it, so I made that my next stop. And they were right - it was historic and hilarious, focusing on the untold history of the city, from its sewage problems to its once-booming prostitution industry (which, at one time, accounted for more than half of the city's revenue). I wanted to check out the Pike Place Market once more before I left, to pick up goodies I could share with Fiona and Jay in Vancouver ...
Seattle, Washington, United States canadianjulie... Adam, it was late and we were quite drained so we went round the corner to the local pizza place which was actually great fun, really lively and fantastic food. The next day Monday, was our day to travel to Vancouver. We actually decided to go by bus instead. (David: No we didn't. There were 5 'trains' per day to Vancouver. Except that all bar the first one was at 6 in the morning and they were all busses run by the train company. So it was less of a decision and more of ...

Check in was fine and got a Doubletree chocolate chip cookie - yummy! After freshening up I signed up for a tour of Seattle at 1:15. Should be fun and it lasts 3 hours. I have a hungry headache so am going in search of food before the tour.

Seattle, Washington, United States davidreichman... the sounds I heard that first night were... um... interesting. My first reaction to Jeonju was, "Boy, I'm glad that I didn't grow up here, because this would have been the 'big city'," but as time went on, I got to really like the place. People were really friendly, and the province (hence its capital) is a center for traditional Korean culture, arts and crafts. It is famous for its hanji, which is handmade Korean paper ...
Port Orchard, Washington, United States minhee... my book with me where I wrote all of this stuff down. Once I get an idea in my head, I tend to just keep on trucking until I get to Location X, wondering if it is really worth it. And most of the time it is, this temple included. The temple was perched on the side of the mountain and featured Buddha images carved into the rock. A lot of the charm was that it was so out of the way, so there weren't many people there, making it really ...

I doubt it will be long before this law is soaked up in typical L.A style and sweeps across the States and also over the pond before too long. We reached the Pacific coast line which we travel alongside for over a hundred miles, we switched off our cabin lights and watched the ocean and beeches by moonlight. It was no less ...
Seattle, Washington, United States lindsaygaugeI've been doing the tourist thing the past two days in Seattle. It is a city filled with friendly people. Here are a few of my favorites. Underground tour - Seattle was first built by the man who built Cleveland. It developed major sewage problems. After burning down, it was rebuilt 15 feet higher than before. You can take a tour through the original ground level. Gold Rush ...

The bowler throws a pine cone at the water bottle attempting to knock it over while the batter swings the plastic cricket bat, attempting to knock the ricket cone away. There are a few other rules to the game, which I will be happy to teach everyone, but all you have to know is that I kicked Peters ass at Rickets. We were hoping Bill ...

I could see hot peppers innocently crowded around a display of vine tomatoes. Cloves of garlic hung in strings on the tops of the ceilings. Shoppers chatted with vendors and some quickly discussed a deal or bargain before bagging their customers' purchases. We wandered back to the center of the square towards the golden pig. There were a couple of musicians playing ...
