This morning we weren't all that unhappy to leave the sheridan arabella in munich as we weren't wearing the correct clothing, black cloth and head gear. We headed off to the castle of Neuschwanstein ( the castle they use in the beginning of Walt Disney ). Was good but guess what we have done the abc and not likely see another, they are beautiful but not our thing. Had lunch at ...

... Aus. We saw Anni and Michael in Munich in May. We all went out to lunch at a beautiful outdoor Tyrolean restaurant in the hills overlooking Kufstein. Another super site, Alpen (€53 a night) with a new pool / sauna complex (v smart). We're up in the mountains so I think it will be chilly when the sun drops. The pitches are terraced, we're on the 2nd level on a 'comfort panorama' pitch . We get electric & a tap and a view from where I am sitting of the mountains - ...

... EXACTLY what our hotel looked like! We loved it, felt like a little bit of home was there with us! This was a really short stop for us, less than 24 hours, so we really wanted to make every minute count. Our first evening there we walked down the main strip and saw most of the major sites like Goldenes Dachel (golden roof), Helblinghaus, Kaiserliche Hofburg (imperial palace), and Annasaule (st anne's column). For dinner we ate at ...
