... a buffalo mozzarella and tomato salad with balsamic glaze for entree and then just shared a bowl of spaghetti bolognese. We were both as full as beans! We headed home, watched a movie in bed and then crashed. The next morning we walked into old town for some brunch. I'd picked up a little traveler's guide newspaper the night before which recommended a cafe in old town so we went to check it out. It was called Figa and turned out to be really cool. We all took heaps of photos and enjoyed every moment of the day. The scenery was spectacular at times. From the national park we drove to our overnight stay in Rijeka. We are staying on a botel (boat hotel). It is very cute. The rooms are quite spacious and the roof top bar a nice place for a ...

... 6 miles and dropped anchor in Prklog which was a lovely long inlet totally protected with just one other boat. It felt like we could have been in a Swiss forest some where as there were so many tall pine trees. Needless to say storms arrived after midnight and we find ourselves playing scrabble at 4am in the morning ...
