... what a view, well worth it. Took off on a 6 mile hike through the meadows, up and down the ridges with Rainier in view always. Good to just be on my own, silence, enjoying nature in its finest. Drove back and almost died. Which is the downer of the day. Car pile up just in front of me on the interstate, witnessed it all but couldn't stop to help. I missed it by the skin of my teeth. ... having a lot of fun watching Women's Soccer. We didn't have to wait too long for a table, and the food was great!
Tomorrow we head to Mt Rainier National Park in the morning. The mountain looms over us in the hotel in the distance. It should be great fun to ride up there. Hopefully we can get in a little hiking also.

... 1st Ave, situated close to Pike Place Fish Market, is really long. I think it was an office place previously but converted into a hotel. This place looks a little old and the furnishings are a bit out-dated. The advantage is that it is downtown, so we can walk around this are. ... doubt although I personally have never taken it. :p After checked in, I was surprised by the room I was given. It was huge!! I got an amazing view! No...I had two since I got 2 windows!! I could see the Space Needle from my room as well as the ferries which are always showing in Grey's anatomy scene on my left hand side. And the room was just huge!
