... and were here for a night to celebrate the Mother's birthday. Only one or two other couples were checked in for the evening and they were older couples. After getting ourselves settled into our treehouse, we decided to head into Issaquah for dinner - and to Gilman Village, to search for somewhere for dinner. We settled on an Italian Restaurant, and had a very nice dinner before heading back to Treehouse Point for a nightcap and bed. We fell asleep to the sound of the raging river passing ...

Quietly I think he is really happy to be able to see his baby boy. I am going to head off to bed soon I think and try and grab another solid nights rest. We woke a little later than usual today and headed off to breakfast which I kept light just yoghurt and a little scrambled eggs. We went back down to the cafe as the coffee in the Lido is awful. We checked our email and sorted out our internet, we appear to have more minutes than originally thought even though I did not sign out correctly the first time, it is telling us that we have 258 minutes left ...

... and two granny smith apples that could have passed as bowling balls, somewhere between the Lawn and Ten Pin type. We loaded up and took on the traffic, which actually turned out to be surprisingly easy. Seattle is a pretty bike friendly city, and most roads have designated bike lanes, or else the cars just glide around you. ... of water into the sky, it didn't happen. I left, just pondering whether that would-be good picture was worth a sunburn or not. I forget what I decided. But as it was nearing 2:30, I took the monorail back to the lightrail station, then headed toward the airport.
