... locked and it appeared that the hotel next door could access it but "El Carib" was caged-in. Probably to protect the poor unsuspecting folks on the beach. When we went our room which looked liked a disaster and smelt really bad. No balcony and the only view was of the car park. Jonathan took one look and we went back to the nice lady at the reception who couldn't help us. Disappointed we called Priceline that had me pressing buttons, dialing confirmation number, phone ...

    Second adventure with some modifications.

Snagged a concrete site across from the bathhouse. Kinda loved it !

Mosquitoes were relentless ! Park is nice, lot of places to walk dogs, but too many mossies.

Saw a Diamondback rattlesnake (aproxx. 4 ft) purchased walking sticks and will stick to well cleared trails.

Abundant deer. Lots of places to fish, yet none were biting.

Our Florida adventure ended with a stay at Vero Beach and Daytona Beach. Had nice RV parks at both stops.

Vero Beach was a very pretty area. Nice wide beaches with warm water and waves. Hadn't seen waves for awhile. We walked the beaches but again had weather issues and couldn't spend much time sitting on the beach. Housing and neighborhoods well kept and upscale. Nice marinas spread around the harbors.

... heading the right way. He said we were definitely not in the area for dogs but to keep heading the direction we were going. Beyond the jetty is for dogs. We, well, I wasn’t very happy at this point. The guy at the front entrance clearly did not tell us where we should have gone, since this wasn’t the right way. I was fuming since by now, we had walked over a mile and a half. Harley’s tongue was dragging. We had water with us and ...
