There was an old biplane flying up and down the beach towing an advertisement, looks like an awesome way to make a living. There are squadrons of Pelicans flying sorties above the water and diving in amongst the people playing in the water, sometimes landing right next to them.

... morning, our backyard had morphed into a mini-Luxembourg garden, complete with French graffiti on the back fence. There is now a statuette of a nude female (tastefully attired in "pasties"), of which we saw many (sans "pasties") during our travels. It resembles a cruder version of the famous Venus de Milo in the Louvre, albeit without a head, but it does add a certain charm to the garden!
