We are just beginning to pack and prepare for the trip. We've been talking about it for so long, and now it's just days away. I can't believe it is finally here! We have lots to get ready, but soon we'll be on our way, with literally nothing more than the clothes on our backs. The thought is so freeing.

We left the house this morning and went 3 miles and pulled over to fix the bicycle cover. Stopped at a rest area on I 75 and fixed the front wheel well cover, the bolts sheared and I put new bolts in to repair. Stopped for lunch and then finished the day at the welcome center in Alabama. The brake buddy for the car braking system burned up, so that's capute. On to New Orleans tomorrow. First day out so far so ...

I spoke about it before, but if you recall, we didn’t really get a good look at it because of the wasp attack. Oh, by the way, the golf cart was obtained by trading some lawn mowing for it.
