    ... MBK center was six floors and had cheaper items and knickknacks. The Siam center had more of the top-of-the-line fashion stores, such as Prada or Vendi. Thai people sure do love to shop!     13/3 Another great lie in. Could get used to this. Slept till around 1. As we'd already been to Bangkok, the last few days there we'd planned to see the real Bangkok, have a few last really good cheap nights out and buy anything we need before we go to Australia.     As a practical example of a handicraft practiced by the locals, the man made a beautiful decoration used for the funerary ceremonies by carving banana leaves.

    The lunch
    We had lunch on the side of the canal. The choice was mainly seafood - prawn, octopus, fish - and we chose the biggest, fattest roasted fish to feast on. Thinking about it still makes my mouth water!!
