... in the Philippines and I got to see her a lot. We were best friends in high school and when she moved back after senior year graduation we kept up our communications though not as regular. We remained friends but didn't see each other much. She did visit Chicago and New York once, but it was nice having her so close and in the same time zone. Old friends like these are few and far between as we get older and life takes us on different paths. So I cherish these ...

Raymond and Ethan slept the entire night so they know nothing about Jet lag! Today we will just hang around here at the hotel. It is pouring with rain and about 35 degrees so sure a swim will be in order. Flight to Auckland leaves at 6.30pm and we arrive in NZ at 10.30 Sunday ...

... 10 for an hour! We also took a wonderful tour to some of the cities main sites. The first pic is actually leftover from Cambodia, a traditional Khmer dance performance. The next pic is "China Town" in Bangkok. There are actually way more Chinese living in Bangkok than there are Thai people, and it's been that way for a while. Our tour guide said she was 3rd generation Chinese born in Bangkok. Our first stop was Wat Traimit. 40 years ago, a good sized ...
