... erov. The grandeur of the castle architecture of Helfštýn hovers above the valley of the Moravian Gate. The entire grounds consist of a number of utilitarian buildings and fortifications. Four courtyards at the castle are accessible to the public at present. The castle has five gates, a number of bastions, towers and an extensive system of both internal and external bulwarks. It ranks among the most extensive complexes in Europe in terms of its ...

... to the rise of irreligious feelings.
Most of the monuments here seem to say that the Czechs have a long memory, and they’re naught like to forget their past. The Czech Republic has such a rich history, and even though most of it is unfortunate or unpleasant, the Czechs have found ways to constantly remember and pay homage to their heritage. Everything here is a living monument; each Czech is a testament to days gone ...

... can already tell that the friends I am making here will be the life long type, and that I will be a different person by the time I return to the states... One thing will probably never change though; on the way home from the pub I was laughing at a joke when a man at the tram station impersonated me with a witch's cackle. His cackle only made me laugh harder. It was quite the ordeal, and my sides hurt by the time we made it to Jarda's ...
